by Slobodan (Sani) Manić
Ah, "No Hacks"... The podcast you turn to when you've run out of paint to watch dry. Hosted by Sani Manic, whose charisma is only outshone by his ability to drain all the excitement from a topic. Here's a guy who could make a skydive sound like a trip to the post office. Each episode is a masterclass in monotony, like listening to a lecture about the history of beige.
And let's talk about the guests. From Marta Mijatov discussing safe spaces to Manuel Krähe enlightening us on the rapid aging of best practices, each episode is a veritable smorgasbord of the bland leading the bland. My personal favorite is the episode with the e-commerce expert, Andras Kobza. The way he explores the crucial role of friction in e-commerce made me yearn for some friction in my eardrums - anything to distract me from the audial tedium.
Finally, the cherry on this lackluster sundae, the podcast name. "No Hacks". It's as if Sani is warning us in advance about the complete absence of shortcuts to make the content engaging. At least he's honest. The only 'hack' here is how to turn any interesting topic into a sleep aid. So, hats off to Sani and "No Hacks". If you're ever having trouble sleeping, you'll know where to turn.
